Natalie and Baylor met through a mutual friend in DC after they both left their hometowns in Mississippi and Tennessee to escape from Covid. They started talking virtually in April 2020 and finally reunited in person when they both went back to DC in October. Baylor completely surprised Natalie on New Year's Eve with a proposal surrounded by her family in Mississippi, and the couple decided to wed at Rose Hill Manor in Northern Virginia on August 2nd of 2025.

Natalie envisioned an elegant ballroom wedding with white and dusty blue as the color scheme. Some floral highlights include large hydrangea pieces on white pillars and hanging greenery over the balcony overlooking the ballroom. The bridal bouquet in particular was inspired by Kate Middleton's and Sophia Richie's florals. A few highlights of the wedding day include a phone-audio guestbook, a memorial table with a special section dedicated to Natalie's best friend, campaign buttons for guests to wear as a nod to Baylor's career, and a multitude of dance-floor props, like colorful cowboy hats and sunglasses.
